What do you think will end the World (or the human race)? An incurable disease? Nuclear War? Alien invasion?
Personally I believe it will be AI related. Create the ultimate soldier, plug it into the internet to communicate with all the others, decide you want to destroy one, they all decide not to let you , armageddon - that sort of thing.
Over to you. The more outlandish the better.

Stupidity i expect, not that anyone will be left to say i told you so!
Personally though i think at some point a decent percentage of us will be wiped out by disease, plague or some kind of infection, nature does have an uncanny ability to address the balance if things get to out of sync and humans are fucking more and more with the planet, nature, bacteria etc.
Hopefully not in the too near future though!!

None of the things mentioned thus far would bring about the end of this planet.
Even if all life were extinguished by some sort of global catastrophe (and it's hard to imagine ALL life being wiped out), Planet Earth would still be here.
In fact, a couple of thousand years after such an event, it would quite possibly be in better shape than it is now.
Now, if what the scientists say about the expiration of The Sun is correct, then that's where it all goes tits up.

In about 10 years time there will still be the same numpties on here arguing about retractable seating, empty seats, why people didn't bother to get a ST at UP and importantly, soulless bowls only fit for athletics.
Donald will hear about this, and then in his third term (having changed the rules to suit himself), he will lose his famous patience and do the world a favour by blowing it all up to make it stop.

Lack of purpose will kill off the human race after everything gets automated. Boredom will set in and drugs will soften the pain of having fuck all to do so, mass suicide will become the norm...
